Today I’m starting a new series on this blog: inspiration. In this series I’ll talk about websites and blogs which have inspired me. It’s possible they inspired me because of their great content, beautiful design, or something else.
So because this is the first article of this kind, I’m starting with the blog that inspired me most of all: Problogger.net. Problogger.net is founded by Darren Rowse. Darren has been blogging for almost a decade. He started as a beginner but after some time he was able to make a living out of his blogs (you can read Darren’s full story here). Problogger.net is a blog full of articles and tips about HOW to run a succesful blog.
So, why does Problogger.net inspires me that much?
Full of information about how to run a blog
First of all, Problogger.net is full of useful content. Whether you’re a beginning blogger or an experienced blogger, you’ll find so much information about how to run a blog in all its aspects:
- Starting a blog;
- Writing articles;
- Marketing your blog;
- Making money;
- …
A lot of articles of guest bloggers
There are a lot of guest bloggers posting their articles on Problogger.net. This is great because sometimes you get to know another interesting blogger. On the other hand, a lot of those guest blogger write from their own experience. So that’s interesting to learn from but also to see how other bloggers manage their blog.

Great design
If there’s one thing for sure, then it’s that Problogger.net has a great design. The blog isn’t designed by just a guy who created a theme in 5 minutes. No, this is the work of a lot of people and a lot of time. Everything is on the right spot (every menu, every ad) and it’s there for a reason.
Useful e-books
Darren Rowse is also author or co-author of some ebooks. I read some of his ebooks and learned a lot of it (just like thousands of other bloggers!). Most of them are not for free, but they are worth the money and your time to read it. If you want more information about those e-books, click here.
